in the recipe for Gingeriest Cookies ever, there is mentioned as an ingredient – ginger chips – which I have never heard of. Where can I purchase these and/or make them? Thanks so much
Gingeriest Cookies Ever mentions ‘ginger chips’. What are they and where do I find them?
If you live in Calgary, you can find them at Cookbook Cooks for about $7.95 (made by the Ginger People brand). You can also find them here online at amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Ginger-People-Bakers-Crystallized-Chips/dp/B001ELL2HO
You can also just cut up crystallized ginger chunks which are much more readily available. You can find these in asian stores, Community Natural Foods or even Superstore in the organic bulk section. Hope this helps
